THE HOME OF OLD APPLE VARIETIES


It is more precisely in Berry that our producers are located. Cher accounts for a third of the area planted with apple trees in the region. This local production, with a packing station available to producers, is mainly concentrated north of Bourges, in Saint-Martin- d’Auxigny and its surroundings.


The Centre is one of the oldest agricultural areas in France. With a continental climate, it has regular rainfall throughout the year and beautiful sunny days in the summer, ideal for obtaining optimal ripening of the fruit.


These apple orchards primarily produce four main varieties: Golden, Gala, Braeburn and Granny Smith, but are increasingly diversifying with recent varieties or brands such as Fuji, Pink Lady®, Ariane®…
