A Golden Delicious and “Reinette Clochard” (type of Russet) hybrid, this is one of the most aromatic varieties.

Presentation

A slightly flattened shape; its skin is yellow dotted with slightly rough freckles.

Tasting notes 

Its firm, soft flesh has a sweet, tangy flavour that is very aromatic.

Perfect for eating with a knife, Chantecler apples can also be used in cooking.
