Muscat De Hambourg

Presentation

We do not know the exact origin of this variety, which bears the name of the city of Hamburg, where grapes were once grown in greenhouses.

From there, this Muscat travelled to England where it enjoyed considerable success from 1860.

Tasting notes

A blue-black colour with purple tints, this is a round grape, scented and very sweet, offering a juicy flesh with a musky taste.
