Muffins with apples and salted butter

Ingredients
FOR GARNISH
- 1 big Golden apple
- 15 gr of slightly salted butter
- 25 gr of brown sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
FOR PASTE
- 125 gr of caster sugar
- 2 whole eggs
- 150 gr of flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 75 ml of milk
- 70 ml of oil
- 15 gr of slightly salted butter
- 1 pinch of four spices
Preparation
APPLES PREPARATION
Peel, core and cut apples in small pieces.
Preheat the oven to 175°C (th.6-7).
In a saucepan, caramelize slightly salted butter and brown sugar.
Add apples and vanilla sugar.
Cook over high heat 3 to 4 minutes stirring constantly, then let cool 15 minutes.
PASTE PREPARATION
In a bowl, mix the caster sugar and eggs then add the flour, baking powder and milk.
Finally include oil, slightly salted butter previously melted and pinch of 4 spices.
Beat until paste is smooth.
Add the cooled apple pieces and juice.
Fill the muffin cups at the three-quarters.
Bake 20 minutes until lightly colored. To check for doneness, the tip of your knife should come out clean.
At the exit of the oven, wait a few minutes before turning the muffins.
